Ina Wakstein began cooking at age eight with her grandmother and mother in Brooklyn, New York. Grandma was from Russia and cooked peasant, ethnic foods. Ina would hang out and watch this magic in the kitchen and one day started rolling her own blintzes and making rugelach.
Since then, cooking has always been a passion of hers. Friends and family were always lucky to sample her menus at dinner parties and holiday events.
Ina's main committment as a chef is that her customers dictate the menu. It's important to her to offer personalized consideration to the diner's needs and she appreciates the differences in everyone's food choices.
